That's not a comparison to make, to judge if others think a sport is "watchable".
In that case college basketball in general is "unwatchable" because most people in the United States don't watch it.
You can certainly make the argument that men's college basketball is more POPULAR than women's, but that doesn't deem women's basketball unwatchable.

Just b/c someone is asking that much doesn’t mean anyone will pay it.
I have a very hard time believing someone would fork over a thousand for two seats to a women’s game in the regular season.

I once pd $500 for LSU and Bama football game. But if $800 for a Basket ball game is possible we have come big time. I hope we whip their(SC) butts.

I will say this, it will be entertaining. I am usually grinding my teeth the entire time MBB is playing. Not so with WBB, They are good.

You folks that seem to be annoyed that anyone would ask a high price for a WBB game at LSU just need to calm down a bit. See what they are asking at Noon on Thursday.
As someone who has season tickets to LSU fball, MBB, WBB, and baseball, I can assure you that if you gave LSUWBB a chance, you might come to appreciate it as I do. It is all about what you expect when you go to a game.
I can tell you this: there are LOTS of fans around Baton Rouge who want to see LSUWBB play. The excitement around LSU WBB is every bit as great as the excitement around LSU Baseball.
As someone who has season tickets to LSU fball, MBB, WBB, and baseball, I can assure you that if you gave LSUWBB a chance, you might come to appreciate it as I do. It is all about what you expect when you go to a game.

I can't tell you how much LSU gets but they do get a cut. It's only if you use the ticket broker they have a contract with. At the moment, I believe it's SeatGeek. If you have season tickets or purchase single game tickets to any sporting event from LSU and want to resell them, you must use the link on the LSUSports website. You have to have an account with said ticket broker. It's the only way the buyer gets the code on the ticket that is scanned. LSU then gets a cut of the selling and buying fee.
For a long time it was StubHub. I assume SeatGeek offered a bigger cut.
But I completely agree, it's a huge racket.

Prices for WBB should be the same for every game. Why a pricing money grab because one game is deemed more important than any other? Nothing but a fan ripoff only because they can. Ridiculous.
