Regarding the tournament:
Not sure if the interest in this team has now completely died, but there must be some loyal fans around
The LSU Alumni assoc., together with the Atlanta alumni have arranged a pep rally, tailgating etc. at the team hotel to begin the tourney with energy and support for our team.
LSU alumni has a package together of hotel + all session tix.
For 4 nights it's around a thousand bucks. Pricey but they might be able to just do tix if you have your own accom.

Addendum. Interest has been minimal. I'm told by the Alum assoc. that they've canceled the hotel portion, but will gladly get tickets for people. The Pep Rally/tailgating is free and takes place at the Marriott Marquis, Peachtree Center, downtown Atlanta.
