... ever by a LSU LB.
20 tackle, 2 sacks

UF could not score while he was on the field.

Didn't he leave at halftime as well?

If I recall it was a brutally humid day and we had cramping issues all over the field.

I went back and read the game recap. I wouldn't recommend it.

UF ran on 17 of 18 plays on their two 2nd half scoring drives and ran the ball 25 straight times to end the game.

no he missed two drives with cramps, and it happened to be the two posessions Florida scored, go figure. he was a monster that day and was in on about every tackle

that was the day Williford's career effectively ended due to a concussion. and Alex Hurst's last game. we did nothing on offense against UF, OL was in shambles, and had Clowney and SC the next week. I thought we were doomed.

funny thing happened. Hill, Trai, and Vadal came into their own within a week and things started looking up. that 2012 team was so close to being really special, if only there weren't so many "personnel issues".

Odell had a horrible game. He muffed a punt and had a lot of drops.

even with all of that, we were one defensive stop away from winning the West

True. That team was pretty weird. People remember Mett for 2013, but that 2012 season was less than mediocre from him, even though he had a career night (up to that point) against Alabama that season.

People wanted him benched for Steven Rivers

"He's tall, and he's got the pedigree! Mett isn't going to get better, we need to try something else!!!"

You knew Rivers was one helluva project when his brother is a stud in the NFL and he's nothing more than a 3 star QB. I mean he got every look imaginable and they still couldn't give him anything more than 3 stars after considering his "pedigree".

You didn't say anything about LSU's offense. Only one first down rushing, and that came on the opening Tiger possession.

Vintage Miles football.

I try not to remember that day.

Something like 45 yards rushing. It was one of those offensive performances that hurts you to the core.

I was there and good god it was hot. Most miserable I've ever been at a football game. Defense did it's job. Same old story for the offense.

Wasn't that the game where OBJ had a 40+ yard catch then fumbled it along the sideline?

After that play, I knew the game was over.
