Just another tidbit! In the BCS era, LSU was the FIRST team to win TWO (2) BCS titles!! Now, on verge of being the FIRST to win THREE (3) BCS titles!! Indeed, the last 11 or 12 yrs has been a special time for LSU fans! Earlier poster said that "and next year's team gonna be better! We got it goin on friends!! Enjoy the ride!

Man. I feel like i just went back in a time machine listening to all you old fricks talk about the 30's on through the 60's.
But seriously, we need more posts and comments like this to put this and the fan base in perspective. i'm sure all of us are aware of the unwarrante meltdowns that occur here from tme-to-time.

I 100% agree! Great post. This team has played their heart out and deserve the accomplishments they have received. Good luck to the boys in Purple and Gold to finish out the season and bring that third BCS title home!
