Also that team was unranked at that time but did make it to the final four. Those were some very good teams in the mid 80's. Also saw Ben Mcdonald on that roster.

I think Ben was on a basketball scholarship not baseball.

Also that team came a short fade away jumper by Nakita Wilson of making it to back to back final 4's. Couldn't hold off Bobby Knight and his boys

i remember that game well. Anthony Wilson went beserk that game. 76-41 still sticks in my head.

When Neboisha Bukumirovich made a 3 off the glass I knew Uk was in deep shite.

3 decades ago. seems like yesterday.

brown and woodside were daddy dale's defensive specialists executing the freak defense. vargas was intimidating. AW and NW were great. DJ had a great game against GT in the NCAA tourney that year.

Thanks for posting.... brought back great memories. My Dad would joke with me asking why one of the players had his first name on his jersey (Darryl Joe). I was 15 and it made me laugh every time!
