I like the occasional mixup, but 3 out of 5 seems unfair.

It changes up the routine in a sport that is very reliant on routine.

It potentially affects crowd size.

It provides more time on Sundays for me to do chores and other shite I don't want to do.

TV + every SEC team has a Th-Sa series before the SECT.

ETA: I see that our series before the SECT is away. So scratch that as a reason. 3 home; 2 away are Th-Sa. Yeah... I don't like it.

I just edited. I know one of the Home ones has to do with Easter. Ole Miss.

Th-Sat means they are in prime time and either SEC Network or ESPNU twice that weekend. That's a good thing for the program.

But that's not the conversation we're having. Who gives a shite about the other team?

So 1 is for the SECT (Moo State). 1 is for Easter (Ole Miss). And 3 are for the SEC Network (aTm, Bama, Auburn).

This is kind of like the 2:30 for football games. If you are good these things are going to happen. If you are not good things will play out like normal. Which would you prefer?

It's a huge headache for someone like me who has to travel to games. I like to be able to catch at least the Saturday and Sunday games. This really limits how many I can come in for now.

It means everything if you want to get there.

Does it? Regionals and super regionals are what you get you to Omaha. You aren't guaranteed a friday, saturday, sunday type series in the supers and the regionals are a different format all together.

Rotations go on short rest. Home fans see pitchers at less than optimal, thus cheapening in some way the product that home fans see on the field.
