Opinions on Smith and Kramer's slides? Close but I could see a safe call on both, as well.

They were both out. Smith was out on the second tag, but the Ump called him out on the first one like an idiot.

Between his hand and legs it appeared Smith always had contact with bag

Kramer was out by a mile. That is completely on him. Rewatch it! He had a minimal lead , was leaning towards first , AND THEN HE DECIDES TO BREAK FOR 2nd AFTER THE BALL IS CROSSING THE HOME PLATE!!!
Awful!

I don't think so. Guy tried to tag Kramer's body. His hand looked like he touched the bag before the tag. Josh absolutely touched base first. I believe he was on base with the secondary tag. Just the way I saw it.

no problem with the calls. Florida had one at the beginning of the game called out that was safe. thats the way baseball goes

With the luck that LSU had on several calls just to get to the championship series I wouldn't complain about it but KR was out and Smith was arguably safe.
