January 9th, 2012...that's what that led to..."back up QB"

Possibly LSU's best year, ever. Oregon has improved, unfortunately LSU hasn't.

You're not falling for supporting your own post?

Off the top of my head...Florida State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Ohio State, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, and Standford have ALL done more when it matters than LSU has in the last five years.

How many conference titles/NC's have any of them won...aside from Bama.

Oregon's awesome, but dont't they play in a one team conference? Don't we always say Oregon wouldn't be nearly as good if the played in the SEC?

No, only idiots. Oregon is definitely a top three team this year.

That record is part of the truth...that an average coach can win pretty big at LSU. Les Miles is a mentally "off" coach who is not crazy like a fox like some people want to believe (his repeated, consistent and COMPLETE stupidity when managing the clock alone proves that).

The people who do not realize that...well, I feel even more sorry for those who do than I already do for their having to endure an idiot like Miles.

i swear none of yall are pleased.

FSU - Conference Title
OK - Conference Title
Oregon - Conference Title
tOSU - Conference Title
Auburn - Conference Title - National Championship
Florida - Conference Title - National Championship
Stanford - Conference Title

Bowl records combined - positive

Any more questions?

Still think LSU is #2 over the last 5.5 years?

Probably not, but it is now. The past 5 years the State of Alabama has carried the SEC though.

I believe the Pac 10/12 has a winning record vs the SEC over the past ten years.

SEC homers overrate the overall conference strength. The B10 also is close to .500 vs the SEC in that period.

Yeah, what do you think you just proved to help your point?

You showed a lot of teams that haven't done anything more than LSU. Most less. Yeah, I think we were a better team than all of them over the last five years...except probably Oregon.

Strangely, the SEC would have a really shitty record vs the Pac10/12 since the BCS began if not for LSU. One team has pretty much carried the conference in head to head matchups.

Do you think we were better than Oklahoma most of those years or worse?

Eta: if they had played in the SEC, would they have won three conference titles?

Prior to the rise of Florida, then Alabama..probably so. They certainly have the talent to compete. They would be stuck behind Alabama like the rest of us are presently
