2024 opener talk..USC expected to land K-State transfer QB Will Howard

Sounds like Howard is transferring to USC and running off a top 15 5 star QB from last years class.

He had 3,000 yards and 33 Touchdowns. What is setting the world on fire to you? We’ve been lucky the last 5 seasons with 2 unreal QB’s. Before 2019 LSU fans would deem Howard the crown prince. Make no mistake, Will Howard is a good college QB.

Will Howard isn’t a huge name but dude is very solid.
I’d rather him than the 5 star that is transferring. Everyone talks about what they were coming out of high school. I listened to a USC pod a few weeks ago and they were talking about who was going to replace Caleb, and both said Nelson had fallen to third team and still can’t grasp the offense. Many think he’s already peaked. He was also told they are bringing in a transfer to start.
It’s just funny people always go back to what players were in high school versus how they are playing now

Howard was an above average QB at KSU. If he was better he wouldn't be transferring because they think Avery Johnson is the guy next year there.
That being said no doubt Riley will get the most out of Howard, but I have a feeling he wont exactly be Caleb Williams there.

Howard is the bus driver USC needs. Caleb tried to be a 1 man show and look what that got them

They are downgrading at QB from Williams to Howard, there's really no arguing that.
They lose games because of their defense, not QB or offense. Been that way with Riley for years.
This year - gave up 48, 34, 52, 36 and 38 in losses
Last year - gave up 43, 47 and 46 in losses
