Guaranteed wins against all non-division teams - 6-0 (2-0)
Guaranteed wins against TAMU, AUB, and MSU - 9-0 (5-0)
2-1 Split games against ARK, MISS, and BAMA - 11-1 (7-1)

Prediction: We beat Ole Miss and Alabama at home, but lose to Arkansas on the road in Fayetteville at the end of three very physical football games... face Tennessee in Atlanta, and advance to the CFB playoff.

What says the Rant?

If LSU beats Mississippi and Alabama, there is no way on God's green Earth that we will lose to Arkansas for the third-straight year. I feel 11-1 as well, with our close games being BAMA, UM, UW, ARK and UF...each of those 10 points or less either way.

We'll see. I think that we take Ole Miss at home and then clinch the division after beating Alabama after the bye week... after that, Arkansas is the perfect receipt for a letdown/trap game, and there hasn't been an undefeated conference champion since 2011.

Joke all you like, but Bielema is slowly building something there. Remains to be seen how they'll respond without Brandon Allen, but they'll a team to be reckoned with. Much more so than Florida or Wisconsin, IMO.

UF, Bama, and Ark are losses. Go to sleep, like this team does against inferior opponents, and JSU & USM could be embarrassing.

Which teams, Peej? I don't see any way we lose to Mizzou given the year they had, and Florida was a lot of smoke and mirrors this year. I don't think McElwain was the guy for the job there.

As far as the West goes, we've gone 2-7 against Ole Miss, Alabama, and Arkansas the last three years. I don't see any way that streak continues in 2016.

Agreed. LSU is better next year. Consensus Yes. Mississippi is worse. Consensus Yes. Alabama will be worse or the same at best. Consensus Yes. Arkansas, they just don't have the talent we have.

Arkansas is a weird one, especially because of their spot on the schedule right after Bama. I'm so glad that Ole Miss was moved to October, and wish we would do that permanently. This season has that feeling where we win out through October again, FINALLY beat Bama, then drop a letdown game in Fayetteville. I'll say 11-1, SEC West champs.

10-2 in the floor and 12-0 ceiling. No excuse for anything else. We are more talented AND have more experience than every team we play. Bama at home

Glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. For whatever reason, Arkansas is just a gigantic pain in the arse. Of course, it'd still be pretty funny to lose to the Hogs and win the NC just to gauge their reaction.

I'm not willing to concede that we will lose three consecutive times to the lowly, pathetic, irrelevant Hogs and their coach, who resembles a slovenly swinger from an ancient episode of HBO's Real Sex.

frick that.

Sorry Florida will be a dumpster fire on offense. They only won the east because it is so freaking pathetic! Did any of you see their last 6 games of the year? They regressed badly. I am going with 12-0, 11-1 at the worse and I don't think that loss will come by the hands of Arkansas again, no way no how! That game might be circle on our calendar just as much as the Alabama game will be. Trust me Miles wants a beat down on Fat Bert bad!!

State loses Dak and that says enough. Florida will be tough just on their defense alone but we should take that one in a close game in the Swamp. Ole Miss lost a lot and we get them at home. Alabama has to find another QB which has seemed to not hurt them but they will have lost a lot of big time starters and again we get them at home. Arkansas needs to find a QB and a starting RB. They wanted White badly! If we do make it to the SECCG and play Tennessee that will be a hell of a match up. I think they are in for a hell of a year as well. This could be a special year just like 2011 was, with hopefully a much better ending.

Even Muschamp had an 11-2 season. Florida did not impress me AT ALL after Grier went down.

I'd rather be 11-1 with a loss to Arkansas than 11-1 with a loss to Alabama. Just sayin'.
