I have been an LSU fan for 60 years. I am more optimistic about this team than any team during that span. We may not win the NC, but we are going to be a team to be reckoned with. I will once again have my old arse at the stadium-pulling for these young, but talented Tigers on every snap. I hope you will join me....and nothing you say can dampen my enthusiasm for this season.

I am 67, went to my first game at 7 years old. Still run a mile every morning and drink a bottle of good red wine every evening.....get ready-the next couple of years are going to be something special.

That was funny redwing. But seriously. Quit picking on a man who is working his butt off to bring us wins.

Thats the benefit of aging....quarterbacks get better every year, and while Jennings or Harris may not be the best, the offensive line is. together, they will provide Fournette, Guice and Williams relief from the 8 man front. Again, get ready for LSU Football.

I hope I can still do that at your age. I think this will be another year LSU doesn't win 10 games but you never know.

agreed...not 60 here, but about 40 years myself....and this team is going to be a lot better than most think. I'm a very realistic fan....the last few years were filled with inexperience...this year some major talent will have experience...and we will be strong up the middle on D and of course we are always fast on the corners. Our WR's may be our best GROUP ever, and of course LF will be amazing....this team will be special....even with last year's qb play, we go 10-2.

sounds like you are hoping.

How many years has LSU not won 10 games under miles? Three? You make it sound like this is yet ANOTHER year without 10 years. ha

Last year LSU was a count hair from winning 10 games with give aways to Alabama and ND......and they had terrible QB play, and most of the entire team was highly talented yet highly inexperienced. This year....that talent will have experience.

The fricking refs gave away the ND game with that touchdown they cheated us out of before the half.

Well I wouldn't go this far Bc of the offense. But I'm excited about the season, just not as optimistic.

if you didn't see all year that LSU was struggling mightily with relief, and that inevitably that would do them in....then I don't know. Injuries hurt the pitching staff last year, and of course PM did his thing with pitchers in the postseason to seal the deal.

but then, when are you ever?

Damn that offense right? I mean with having Dupre and Quinn as Freshmen, and LF as a freshman, and a QB starting for the first year....how dare they have a bad offense last year right? LOL

LF took off at the end of the season last year, and he has some exciting new rb's around him this year, as well as Williams. This is probably the best RB corp that LSU has had, and the best individual RB they have had as well, in a long, long time, if not forever. As for the WR corp....probably the deepest, most talented corp they have ever had there. MD is going to be special there....watch...Dural will be a playmaker, and Quinn is going to be mr. steady.....throw in Diasre and Chark and the newcomer in Johnson....as well as more experienced Tight Ends.....and damn...with LSU's solid offensive line, I could probably complete passes here and there. Also, is it out of your realm of possibilities that LSU could actually improve at QB, given that both were essentially playing for their first year last year. Some of you people...I swear you would rather be negative, and never look at circumstances. Highly talented, yet highy inexperienced last year...this year....different story, and results will prove out.
