So returning starters are Vadal Alexander (LG in 2014), Jerald Hawkins (RT in 2014), and Ethan Pocic (C/RG in 2014). What will the 2015 offensive line look like? I think the biggest question for now is whether Evan Washington applies for and receives another year of eligibility, as rumoured. Beyond that, as the top returning linemen, you could expect Hawkins to remain at RT but do you see Vadal moving to LT? Here's my guess for the 2015 O-line.
LT:Vadal Alexander
LG:Ethan Pocic (guy has the body for a guard, not center, miles has remarked on this notion)
C:Andy Dodd
RG:Evan Washington
RT:Jerald Hawkins

Edit: Seems like the consensus is a Hawkins a RT->LT move. I can see that.

I'd be surprised if incoming freshman Maea Teuhema wasn't starting at one of the guard positions by the middle of next season. The dude's going to be a road grader.

If those guys are indeed all staying, our OL should be very good next year. Really excited about that.

Left to right
Hawkins, Alexander, clapp, pocic, domond

Or

Hawkins, Alexander, clapp, brumfield, pocic

Boutte also in the mix.

This is ideal if Hawkins can make the transition. Solidifies the left side of the line and Pocic will be a monster at RG.

ETA: talking about LT, LG, and RG. I think C and RT will be up for grabs.

I still think Pocic is better suited at a T spot, so we'll see if they keep him at G or not. I think that depends on if they can find a regular starter from other guys.

LT:Jerald Hawkins
LG:Vadal Alexander
C:Andy Dodd
RG:Brumfield (My guess. Mean streak and extremely athletic. Will be a very good one. Teuhema/Clapp next)
RT:Ethan Pocic

Pocic is 6'7". How many guys that tall do you see playing Guard? (Center is even more rare) He absolutely has the body and skill to be a good Tackle and I would expect him to slide over to LT after Hawkins is done. Hawkins is athletic an OL as anyone we have seen. His skill set screams LT, though I'm not sure he has the same mean streak that made La'el so nasty. Think he does well filling that void though. Dodd looked good in the limited action he got. Think he can be a good option at C. Don't think Washington is coming back. One I'm interested in seeing progress is Malone. I really thought this might be a we want somebody famous on the sidelines type of offer, but he really surprised me in his playing time this year. Looked strong and athletic. Will be nice if he improves enough to be ready to take over a spot come 2016. Pocic will be a Jr next season with in his 3rd year with significant playing time. If he makes a leap, it's not out of the realm that he, Vadal, and Hawkins might be gone after next season.

Boutte will be starting somewhere IMO. Hes very talented and physical and appeared in every game last year + 8 as a true freshman. We have been bringing him along and grooming him to step in this fall. And it amazes me that so many people completely keep him off their prediction list and what not.

I always forget about Boutte. If he can slide into the RG spot that would be great.

LT - Hawkins
LG - Alexander
C - Dodd
RG - Boutte
RT - Pocic

For some reason a lot of people seem to forget about Boutte

Outside of Pocic, Vadal, and Hawkins, he's probably our most experienced OL and has always stood out to me. He's got great size, nimble on his feet, and in a mauler out there.

Here's an article on him from the preseason LINK Lael said he might be the strongest lineman on the team. And like a good bit of the OL that the staff thinks highly of, he's been cross trained at both the OG and OT spot.

We rely on the right guard to be able to pull, which is why Pocic was so valuable there. That's why I could see any of Pocic, Boutte, or Brumfied there.

I think the development of Hawkins on the left and Domond overall will dictate more where Pocic plays, because he really can play all five spots.

ETA: Now that La'el is gone, we need another mean guy out there to set the tone. That might be Boutte. It's also why I think Clapp is in the mix.

This is what I was thinking, but Boutte is very athletic as well. If he could step into the RG spot that would be huge IMO. Boutte/Pocic on the right would be almost as solid as Hawkins/Alexander on the left.

The OL looks better and deeper today than it did two days ago. I think the two open spots are really up for grabs with several good candidates.

The depth chart looks better at any position when you only lose seniors.

Having Mills comes back is great, I only wish Collins had as well. LSU hasn't had an impact senior DB since 2011-2012.

I thought I remember last year analysts saying Boutte had underwhelmed...
Which is why Malone, Dodd, and Austin were getting some PT. I was extremely excited when he committed, hope he puts it together.
