I will put money on Bouman not being the setup man. His style does not fit a setup man.
Person and maybe one of the freshman throwers who dont get a starting gig will be a setup.
Person will be the first out the pen on Friday nights.

Person was my other name I was thinking. Only reason I went with Bouman is because he found a groove after getting beat up from Arkansas and Vandy. He could be a solid bullpen lefty. CPM loves his lefties in the bullpen

I'm curious why everyone picks Bugg as a closer. His velocity is pretty bad isn't it? Like 86-89 range.

True. But the last time a Freshmen was our closer...Matty Ott. He didn't start the season as the closer either. Coleman technically was.
I like Bugg for his size and ability to strike out batters. Not sure we have a kid coming in that will be used only for closing. Still would not shock me to never name a closer and just have a committee bullpen.

This is how I would run them out for the first game. I'm pretty sure that Kansas will start a RHP for game 1 so I will go off that premise.
1. Laird RF
2. Stevenson CF
3. Bregman SS
4. Zardon DH
5. Deichmann 3B
6. Papierski C
7. Hale 1B
8. Fraley LF
9. Robertson 2B
SP - Lange
Versus a LHP, I would go with this:
1. Laird RF
2. Stevenson CF
3. Bregman SS
4. Chinea DH
5. Zardon 3B
6. Hale 1B
7. Papierski C
8. Fraley LF
9. Robertson 2B
And I would start Poche on Saturday and Godfrey on Sunday against Kansas.
