Wow no Georgia in Baton Rouge?

It has been known the UGA this year was just a fill in game until they got the schedules worked out. That's why I'm going to Athens this year, because it might be 12 years before they go back.

Why? Houston is closer to BR, has a huge alumni base, and has been a recruiting hotbed for us. Besides, LSU has played in Dallas a lot the last few years so a change of scenery will attract a larger following.

haha. yeah right.

soooo, does this schedule mean that LSU has been utterly and completely rejected by Slive & Co. on its issue with permanent cross-division rivals?

Think about this, as of today NMSU is independent because no conference would take them and SHSU is FCS.

Pretty sweet lineup.

Oh man that is a favorable schedule.

No more bitching.

With the talent we have and hopefully AJ getting some solid PT this year, McCarron and Manziel leaving, next year could be VERY special.

Jesus Christ you people bitch way to much about the schedule...

Easy schedule=easier road to the championship which is a goal that comes before the fans' entertainment IMO. Yea the home schedule is a little weak but who gives a shite LSU gets raped with the toughest schedule in the league every year its about time they caught a break.

Oh and HELL YEA to texas a&m being on thanksgiving day. Thanksgiving is my least favorite holiday so this will give me an excuse to skip it

LSU rolls to a top 4 finish with that schedule and that gets us in the playoff

Not for me. My family lives in Tx and I can plan our thanksgiving/Christmas distribution around this game. This year, her family. Next year, my family.

I see 3 night games in Death Valley in that schedule!

I like playing ULM, but the other OOC opponents are meh.

LOVE playing aTm at the end of the year.

Yeah now I have an excuse to completely ignore my extended family on Thanksgiving. They're all anti-LSU New Orleanians.

Schedule sets up for alot of home night games for a change ... and a possibility of all home SEC games @ night if CBS continues with recent trends and picks LSU Bama for their night game ....

Sept. 20 Mississippi State, Baton Rouge - (Same wknd as FL vs Bama)

Oct. 18 Kentucky, Baton Rouge - (no chance for CBS game, Missouri vs Vandy has better chance for 11:00am game)

Oct. 25 Ole Miss, Baton Rouge - (Same wknd as Bama vs TN & USCe vs Auburn)

Nov. 8 Alabama, Baton Rouge - (Self explanatory)
