I think Colin Jeter will RS. I don't have a problem with Jefferson starting at Safety and I think Thompson and even Adams is a better option over Martin...

I have a feeling that Dupre wont be third string.

Fans often underestimate the time it takes to learn a college scheme. Also, we underestimate how important that is. So you have people saying they don't care if Beckwith (for example) doesn't know the schemes. Play him because he's better. That just won't work. If Dupre can learn fast he can start. But he has to learn it, and he has to block. Coming from Curtis that should not be a problem.

If Harris gets bigger and can keep his speed he will definitely start, unless he is behind Jennings with playbook knowledge.

No way in hell CLM or CCC will start a true Freshman at QB against Wisc in Houston. I believe he will get snaps in that game and depending on what AJ does BH could win the job down the line.

It is a far better scenario for AJ to start and be replaced by BH if needed to keep the lump in his throat down to a manageable size. Imagine if AJ is demoted and does not start and BH lays an egg then you have two broken spirited QB's...

Did you watch the spring game?

Spring game is meaningless. Jennings might have performed better than Harris, and you wouldn't even be aware of it. What if AJ made great reads and his WRs didn't? What if BH made terrible reads but salvaged plays with his feet? If that's the case the coaches are smart enough to start AJ. The point is, we just don't know who played better in the spring game. Happily, the coaches do.

My depth chart is based off of who gets the most PT by the end of the season.

QB - Harris, Jennings
RB - LF, Magee, Hilliard, Williams
FB - Neighbors, Jones
WR1- Dural, Diarse, Peterson
WR2- Dupre, Leslie, Spears
WR3- Quinn
TE - Gordon / Smith, Dickson, Washington, Stokes
LT - Lael
LG - Vadal
C- Porter
RG - Washington
RT - Hawkins

DE- Hunter
DT - Bain, QT
DT - Loc, Gilmore, Valentine
DE - Rasco
OLB - Debo
ILB - Beckwith
OLB - Kwon
CB - RR
CB - White
FS - Mills / Jefferson
SS - Martin

A lot of people dont realize that Ronald Martin switched back to SS, his natural position.

I think stokes plays a lot, especially because we will have to pound the ball. No way he's the 4th te off the bench.

I wish every rantard would read this post and really try to understand it. One of the best posts I've read on the rant.

LSU's D heavily relies
on two shut down corners, when we have had that are D has been unbelievable! That is when chavis can come with all those blitz packages he has. With these two corners we have are D will be scary good! Can't wait for the fall!

We all have eyes, Jennings was terrible. I'm not sure if it was nerves or what, but he was really awful.

I was as impressed with anyone with the drive he put together against Arky, however, the difference, in natural ability, between he and Harris is obvious. Unless Jennings has an understanding of the playbook that Harris just can't grab, I don't see him making it more than 3 games as the starter.

Maybe true, but oh how I adore when yall say, "no way" to anything around here.. It tends to almost always happen afterwards.

Hold up is TQ 6'2? LSU has him listed at 6ft 190. So probably 5'11.
