You don't have access to the internet? Or don't have friends who have access? Do you live in Louisiana?

Y'all are arguing semantics. Is ESPN3 on tv or not? What does it matter. As long as the general public (YOU) can view it with your own eyeballs in a manner that is reasonable (which I think having Cox internet or ATT dsl, etc is reasonable).

The problem is that they've taken away our easiest access to the games while trying to tell us that they've made it easier to watch the games.

Don't get me wrong, I like that I can watch any regional around the country on my computer. But they didn't have to take away my ability to watch the LSU one on TV for that to happen.

I will be at work, where I am cursed with shitty internet access. I can stream it technically, so long as I don't mind no sound and bufffering every 5 seconds. now if the game were actually "televised", I would be ok, as I do have a TV at work I can watch

1000% correct. This hole situation is extremely shitey for a number of reasons. Why not just sell the rights to the feed to Cox and let Cox stream it over their channel. Or another local station? You would think ESPN would be maximizing revenue streams as part of a good business strategy. Hell you don't even see commercials while watching an ESPN3.com feed anyway. All this does is basically screw what is still a rather sizable segment of the population who might not have the right cable company or not be Internet savvy.

Just not a good plan for growing college baseball.

I gotcha. I'm kind of in the same boat, but I will probably just take a half day on Fri.

Because it's an uneccessary hassle when there are local channels who would be willing to pay to put it on an over-the-air channel.

No one is going to have a "cable box" in a few years anyways...think of it as being ahead of the curve.

Is there a link to an EFFECTIVE place on ESPN to voice one's complete displeasure with the lack of coverage? An email address will do, but a telephone number would be great.
