2013 Football season opener- Tulane?

Heard it from a couple of Tulane players' parents over the weekend. Didn't say anything then, but it is now being reported on the Tulane message board that their current players are tweeting it. 8/31 game there is conflicting info on whether the game will be in the Superdome or TS

I thought they would never play us again after Alleva canceled that ridiculous contract Skip gave them?

I thought we owed them a home game before 2015, & they said they wouldn't play us again until we fulfilled it.

oh how exciting! another blowout game against tulane. i almost fell asleep at the last one in the dome and we were only up by 1 at half.

We owed them a game in the dome to complete contract - they may agree to Tiger Stadium if we give them a bigger paycheck. I'm sure Curtis Johnson wanted to get that game back on schedule.
If SEC stays at 8, it will be harder to schedule non conference but I can't see LSU playing Tulane every year again

I doubt Tulane-LSU will play in the new Tulane stadium. Not big enough. Barely large enough to accomodate the crowd for Rummel-Jesuit.

This is awesome. I like playing Tulane in FB. Should do it more often. Maybe not every year, but at least every two years.

Tulane does not deserve to share the field with LSU.
I would rather play Southern.
However, I'm all for any game that keeps the money in the state.

They say they are never going to play us again and then they look at the check book and see they are in the red.
All of a sudden they are all for playing us.
I am tired of LSU bailing out Tulane in football and then Tulane turning around and jacking up the price of the LSU v Tulane baseball game tickets.
Southern is flat broke also give them the money at least they would give us an awesome halftime show.
