When does LSU normally put out the following years schedule?

And when does LSU and the other SEC teams meet to figure out how and where the new teams fit into it?

Hopefully before the bowl game.

It looks like the SEC east has their schedules lined up with one another, but it looks like a hold up with the SEC West.

South Carolina could be our new permanent Eastern opponant, not Fla.

This sucks.
I love to hate Florida.
We've had some great games with the gators.

Could care less about SC.

It's amazing how many people don't follow this simple rule

How can Ms. State and Bama drop SEC West opponents?

Maybe Les has agreed to run the fake field goal against them every year.

Everything is usually posted a couple of years out, but with the conference expansion future schedules got scrapped.

I do hope we drop one or two of these OOC games though. On what planet is this line up a good idea? So long strength of schedule advantage.

In reality, our OCC didn't help us this year in the voting, because we are the only undefeated team. If however, there would have been other undefeateds it would have. it did help us by playing better competition. So, you can schedule the Townsends etc., but you gotta hope at the year's end it wont come back and bite you if you do. I know I am saying the obvious, but I feel better now.

I'm getting married next fall. The fiance is willing to wait till the schedule comes out though and get married during the bye week. We're having a beach wedding and I am not having a ceremony in August on the beach, so that was my only other option. I already made it clear to her that anniversary plans will depend on game times/locations.

Need to trash Towson for a decent OOC road game.

I doubt any major program will want anything to do with LSU after seeing what happened to WVU and Oregon.

Wait, I thought they were keeping E/W opponents the same just making TAMU/Mizzou the new rivals??

Yeah, I think some of the off-season preparation for Oregon paid off dividends all season long.

Anyone heard anything else on this? I thought I read where the SEC Presidents and Chancellors were meeting yesterday to finalize schedules among other items. Did this occur?

You've got to be kidding. Any team with any swag whatsoever would want to take on the defending national champs. I would love for SC to play LSU.

Schedules should be released sometime today, as has already been reported, LINK

But according to this, LSU will have all four non-conference games at home, which means at least 8 home games total, possible 9 home games if the SEC decided on a 9 game conference schedule. Am I reading this right?

Didn't click the link but I'm pretty sure you are reading at least part of it wrong. We won't have 9 home games. If the SEC goes to a 9 game schedule then we can't have 4 OOC games, meaning we can't have 4 OOC games at home.

Sounds about right, let's hope that is accurate and it's actually released today
