BIGGEST DISSAPOINTMENT: THE FREAK

sorry to say but the driveman hasn't seen much out of the guy and is not sure that he is the next chad lavalais. sure he's young but gets washed out way too often. he's a good kid, a smart one too but he's alittle too soft to play at this level. he needs to come out screamin and shoutin to get back on TEAM DRIVEMAN.

He has this team in the palm of his hand, and rightfully so.

How do you know this? Have you seen him leading his teammates in person or seen how much time he studies film, etc.?

Also, for those that think Freak is going to dominate, other than reading his praise over and over on droppings, do we know that he is really ready to kick arse and dominate SEC linemen?

I don't know anything about these two points, but I just thought I would ask those of you do, where are you getting information.

I'm failing to see what you have actually contributed. Like every other year from the past decade, your preview is garbage and nobody cares.

Everytime I see Driveman post his patented "Driveman Out" I can't help but think of Ben Stiller. "FOCKER OUT"

I just can't see this team losing to Bama. It's totally set up for us...just like 1/9/12 was totally set up for them.

I know I will be bashed for saying this, but the one game on the schedule that I really hate is Mississippi State.

We play Florida, South Carolina, Texas A&M, off week, then Bama. Coming off of a rigorous 4 game stretch and coming down from an emotional high from beating Bama leaves State lying in the weeds. Still we have way too much talent to lose that game theoretically, but if they make us play against State at 11 a.m., I will start to get nervous.

For historical precedents, see the 1997 vs. Florida game, followed the next week by Ole Miss at home at 11:30 a.m.

It's a classic case of buying into the hype. Most of the time LSU D-linemen have received this much pub and praise after the fact. Anthony Johnson came packaged with this pub and he's young and hasn't proven himself yet. Out of all the DL that is talked about he deserves it the least at this point, maybe that changes this year.

We need to win this game, especially after the fiasco on 1/9.

How upsetting will it be if they are our 1 loss and cost us a shot at the SECCG, and then they get in the SECCG and BCSNCG with 1 loss and win it all again?

Pushing Miles head to head with Saban Miles 4-2 versus Saban in the "Regular Season" (to heck with the MNC rematch game that should have never been Teed up for Nicky)

It's 3-2 in regular season. Saban didn't arrive until '07. However, your point is well taken. Les has held his own outside of the farce bowl last Jan.

Is it 7/10 or 8/10?

Which just so happened to be the biggest of any game, by a mile. Saban gets the edge in the series due to the severity of the beat-down in such an important game

We should have monkey stomped them that year and that game could have gone either way in the 4th quarter. Same could be said about the 08 game going the other way though

Or 09, 10, 11. Here's an interesting point. Jordan Jefferson was 2-2 against Bama as a starter (sort of; subbed in 2011). Freshman Jarett Lee took Bama to OT and lost, throwing INTs and not having any defensive support along the way. Bama has two BCS titles recently, but the gap is not that wide.
