That's right. Replace a 1,000 runner for no reason.

The defense doesnt scare me that much at all
Reid and Loston are pretty scary at safety...not to mention Mathieu all over the field. Mingo will be bigger and badder along with a healthy Montgomery and maybe "freak" on the line. I could be scared of the D if someone can step in at MLB. Baker is solid at OLB.

I think Ridley is a NFL back today. I could be wrong but there isnt a lot of high names that jump out at me when it comes to RBs this year for the draft. I think with the year he's had and a good combine he could be picked reasonably high.
The year after a breakout year can be brutal in College FB. Ingram took a dive this year and we saw what happened to Bradford after his Heisman.

why don't people show any respect towards Lavar Edwards? did he have a few terrible plays?

Wow. Lots of experience coming back. As long as we can get the leadership guys in the right spots, this team is poised for a good run.
Need all hands on deck with coaches as well cause the schedule is a beast!

I bet Ridley goes pro. He'll remember what happened to Black,Scott and Lavell in 09. Black wasn't drafted (probably would have gone in the 3rd or 4th round) and both Scott and Lavell would have gone earlier ( maybe Lavell would have been a 1st rd pick). He'll remember. Next year Ridley will not get as many carries ( Ford will know the playbook by then) and who knows about injuries. 225 totes is a lot of hurt on the body. Who knows, but I bet he'll go pro.

Landry needs to be added to WRs.

MLB - should be Minter
S - Taylor is a very good safety. We saw a big drop off on our defense after he got injured. Loston and Reid will battle for the other Safety spot. Wouldn't be surprised to see Hatcher play a Danny McCray/Chad Jones type roll and be a safety linebacker hybrid.

When it comes to running backs in the NFL who really knows which ones will shine. You got McFadden and Jones from Arkansas, but anybody thought Hillis would shine? Let's give Ridley a chance to mature one more year. Hillis didn't get his chance based on the number of carries at Arky.
Chavis moves offensive players to the defensive side of the ball. Blue could very well get that chance like he gave Eric Berry at Tennessee.
It's hard to say what the depth chart will look like next year, we have plenty of athletes to move around like we did Clement this year, and I look for this team to be rock solid regardless of where the individuals line up!

how has Minter played this year? didn't get to see him play that much and do y'all think Maclin has the agility to play LB?

I'd like to see Trevon Randle get some PT as well.

Eric Berry was always a DB.
Chavis has been known to tinker with guys positions though. Leonard Little was a beast at DE and Chavis put him at MLB as a Sr. kinda makes me wonder if he might try Maclin in the middle.

Ridley would be stupid to go Pro.
He talked in the paper today about playing back to back games in Jerry World, FWIW.

regarding Linbackers...
Welter is a MLB, maybe a WILL
Tahj is a SAM and still is under 200lbs
Muncie was moved to MLB mid season
T. Randal was told by Chavis he is staring out as a MLB.
Maclin was moved to DE mid season
Minter is MLB
Johns is a SAM
Francios is a SAM
Barrow is a WILL
