One of the more exciting offensive performances I have seen by an LSU team. Check out the formations and play calling for the first year starting QB Matt Flynn.

LSU V Tech

It is border line shocking watching a Les Miles coached team open up the offense to this degree. It's not just the balanced attack, it is the sheer creativity, deception and utilizing play makers at every position.

It was Crowton's first year and Miles was not going to interfere as much...

It was the most dominating performance by an LSU team ever.

It was also part revenge after losing in Blacksburg.

This is what we have been sorely lacking on offense for the past few seasons.

We have the talent but we just don't seem to utilize it well. That's all coaching.

I think once Harris is comfortable and the coach trust him, they will open it up.

What worries me is what will happen if Harris has a bad game.

How much leeway will the coaches give him? Will Miles use it as a chance to give his boy AJ back the starting job?

yeah, they were one of the other (six?) teams with 2 loses making a case for the right to skull drag Ohio State in the MNCG.

"We're the only team undefeated in regulation, and the only team to beat one of the other teams in contention. And we whooped'em", we were heard to remark.

This game was pre-2008 pick 6 year.

That's all you need to know...

Crowton basically ran Jimbo's offense "with a few wrinkles" that year. It wasn't until the next season where he implemented the offense that still makes me throw up a little in my mouth.

Flynn was mediocre, Perriloux had 2 tds. Williams ran for 2 and Hester ran for 1.
Team was stacked. Defense was crazy that year.

That long TD run by Keiland was so under rated.
