I'd have to be very bored to sit around and come up with the hypos and prediction requests people post on the Rant.

Who would have won in 1988 if blah blah....?

Who will be the most productive player in 2020?

Can a one loss team get into the nat'l champ game?

What time will the AL game be in 2050?

What if Mack Brown was our coach right now?

What if we had Lane Kiffin in Mike's trailer to get him to get in the trailer? Would Mike spit him out?

My crystal ball is wearing out and it doesn't go in reverse.

I have no idea. I was slightly bored so I tried to think like a Rantard. Took up too much time to come up with some of that stuff.

I may keep the post though so when I'm bored and see someone post silly hypothets, I can post my own.

This is a football message board. Don't take it so seriously.

And I swear to god I'll cyber teabag the next doofus who says fans can't talk about anything but the next game. Are we supposed to be practicing or breaking down film?

Les Miles is a great coach. Of course it's possible.

Uh, yeah, I'm sure you did and you're taking some other posts too seriously, too.

Lighten up.

who cares.........he would have been a coach committed to lsu, win or lose. the guy who won it seemed to be all about himself. reference the article about college football politics featured on the front sports page of usa today, with un-named coach and mark e. nothing new under the sun, and this is no different, but it sure ha turned the game into a big business joke !

better to have a solid guy like clm who's focused on teaching these younguns' football and other useful stuff for the future.

I am gonna say NO, UNLESS Miles could have come in and done the same kinda thing Saban did. I will say this forever. Saban built it and Miles has maintained it. Its pretty simple.

Yes. That defense was legendary. 10/11 starters went on to start in the nfl.

You act as if LSU football didn't have 600 plus wins, played in 31 bowl games, been ranked in the polls 26 times, had two national titles, and ten conference titles before 2000.

Nick is a great football coach at ALABAMA and he was very good at LSU, but the guy couldn't even win ten games at LSU in back to back seasons.

The year he left LSU, he had nine wins, was out of the SEC race in the first week of October, and LSU ended ranked 16th.

Nick helped LSU become a national power again, but this idea some have that he was God like during has stay here and LSU had never seen his type of success before is far from true.

Seems Miles did more with the inheritance than he that willed it.
