I'm bringing my wife and boys to our first LSU home game ever. Longtime fan but never got a chance to attend a home game (live in Atlanta). Both my sons will be on a campus visit Friday for Kickoff LSU. Can you guys help with a couple of questions?
1. Any suggestions on parking and places to visit on game day?
2. We are sitting in Section 404 row 36. Are these decent seats?
3. Any other game day advise/tips would be greatly appreciated!

404 is ok, not great, south end zone lower bowl. They put the visiting team's band around there. Not sure if you'll have a back to your seat there.

1. You can park in the free lots early, or park in some yards around Walk-Ons and pay $20.
Won't really matter honestly, just get there early and park somewhere.
2. Pretty good seats. Here's the view. LINK
3. Walk around and let people know it's your first trip. You'll get all the free food and drink you want. See the band walk down the hill. Go see the indian mounds. Seeing the parade grounds isn't a bad idea either.
- Get into the stadium in time to see the pregame. Stay in your seats until the Alma Mater. You can easily sneak in some alcohol in a flask if you are so inclined.

Go to this gameday link on lsusports.net
The times of interest are listed on there. The band warms up my the greek amphitheater an hour or so before they walk down the hill which is pretty cool, especially the drumline. Get a good spot down the hill before the band actually marches, and check out the new Mike while you're down there.

If you see a dude in a cast, stay away.
If your kids may be going to LSU you may want to avoid the parade grounds all together, especially if your wife is with you. She will get a glimpse of what her kids Saturdays will be like. She may be uneasy knowing she's in Atlanta and they in BR doing that 5 nights a week.

there will be plenty of lower bowl seats available outside the stadium, the upper bowl is like not even being there

I think the game day environment is going to be a little more subdued than it normally is with all that has happened over the last week, and it being Syracuse.

Try to avoid the area north of campus. If you find yourself on a street named after a state or a President (i.e. Polk or Kansas), you're probably not in for a good time.

Well I'm glad you are coming. But man your timing couldn't be worse.

Make sure you are ridiculous intoxicated so that you can stomach a performance with 200 yards of penalties

Catch the team and band walking down Victory Hill. Its fairly close to Mike's habitat too.
Team walks down the hill at 3:50 and band at 4:15.
