Teams dont' respect the pass enough yet. If Jarrett Lee was the QB, it would be the exact opposite. Teams would play deep zones and take their chances trying to stop Scott and Keiland with 7 guys knowing they are going to give up some yards, but Lee's arm is a threat to the entire field, but of course he lacks escapability and we could run option effectively with him. Its a trade off. If we are stuck on Jordan Jefferson, he is going to have to burn defenses down the field, not just on deep balls but especially the intermediate routes to our guys who can run after the catch. I would imagine you will see a heavy dose of passing against GA this week.

i disagree with almost everything you just said. Teams dared LSU to throw it last year with Lee at QB, so I don't see how it would be the exact opposite
