How does saying something negative about Jefferson counter the argument about Lee? If you say that Jefferson screwed up also, it does not make Lee look any better .. OP said that Lee could have been picked of twice for six.

You can make a case for Lee by comparing him with issues even Manning might have. But every time someone says anything negative about Lee, saying how bad JJ is, does not make an argument.
Lee is .. but Jefferson is .. is a dumbass argument. If the best case you can make for any player is at the expense of another player on the same team, then the players may not be that good.

But, how do we really know unless the one who is playing better in limited action is given the chance? Jefferson had his chance and it was a bad experiement. Lee still hasn't had the chance he had as a redshirt freshman. It looks like he has earned that right
