He's started most every game since being here.

Every game, not most every game. He could very well walk out of LSU having started every game in a 4 year career, which would give him the most starts by an LSU DB ever.

Not bad for a guy who some say isn't "LSU caliber." Jalen Mills is the very definition of what a "LSU caliber" DB is.

I think Dillon Gordon or Travin Dural. Gordon is a senior and has been rock solid on/off the field so he fits the traditional role.

I love Mills, but I think his legal troubles from last year may have an effect on the decision.

My gut says Dillon Gordon. To my knowledge, he has never been in any off the field trouble, he is a senior, and has been unselfish in his role, as he is primarily a blocker. Alot of TE's want the ball and do no not embrace blocking, but Gordon seems to be the exception. I also like that he is a very vocal cheerleader for his teammates as evidenced in some of the Big Cat video that we have seen.

Like you, I was uncertain. I sent an email to the LSU Sports Info Dept which was promptly answered. You don't have to be a Senior to wear #18.

Can Les just wear it on the sideline instead of the stupid jacket in a 100 degree weather?
