Todd walker just spoke on SEC now. He said 13 wins is the magic number for us to get in. Thoughts? I think we get the sweep this weekend and take 2 of 3 the next two which would get us to 14 and Do some damage In a regional. After that who knows

On a different note in a normal selection process year that finish might get LSU a freakin regional host. They’d win their last 10 SEC regular season games. 4 games in the tournament. Win the midweek games. LSU would be on like an 18 game winning streak.

14 wins and I really think we get to 15 if we can pull tomorrow out. These boys are still playing ball. They just need to make a little noise in Hoover. 3 seed in Tech’s regional. Don’t forget we play them this week.

Do you think if LSU beats Tech next week LSU’s chances of being sent to Ruston go down? I can’t see the committee doing LSU a solid and hurting Tech by sending a team that’s beaten them twice this season.

Our next two opponents have a total of 17 SEC wins, AL with 11 and A&M with 6.

In that case take your pick: Zona, UCLA, Stanford, Oregon, Texas Tech, TCU.

If Mainierie hadn’t f’d up Ole Miss, Tennessee, and South Carolina LSU could legit be sitting at 12-11 and staring down an outside chance to host a regional with a 16 or 17 win regular season and one or two wins in the SEC Tourney.
If Hill doesn’t get hurt and we had a legit setup man LSU might be looking at an 18 or 19 win reg. season and a national seed.
That’s crazy given the first 3 weeks of SEC play.
