Fans like a winning product and star athletes. If they were last in the sec with a bunch of nobody's they wouldn't have that type of crowd

Moving to Baton Rouge this year I got to make my first meet vs Missouri. Was a lot of fun and the crowd loves to support their gymnastics team.
I missed the Florida meet while I was at the Boston College baseball game.
Definitely recommend to see this team. They are fun to watch.

Winning and star power drives that kind if attendance. If basketball is consistently winning along with the star power of Simmons i don't see any reason we can't have consistently great crowds next year.

Probably the same reason the UK basketball game was packed, but none others have been. Combine a top opponent with any LSU sport and fans come out. It's not that hard.

I am not sure how many posters on here that are not in BTR realize that some of these girls are Olympic trial hopefuls.

No they aren't. Everyone knows Olympic hopefuls in gymnastics are in their mid teens, not in college.
