After Game 1 of the 2002 Rice Super Regional after LSU didn't get a runner on third base...

Wally died when he was 21 years old. Anyone that downvoted this thread may want to think about what that means.

Man, crazy how fast time goes by. I remember waking up and my dad had sharpied 31 into my baseball hat for the rest of the year. I really didn't understand why then.

I was 16 years old and at both of those games. I remember Wally trying to fire the team up all the time
