In a way, I'd kinda be pissed if if it DIDN'T rain while I'm in Seattle.

Doesn't matter - we won't need to throw the ball against these guys, anyway. Get ready to see a bunch of good running backs!

Don't let the rain predictions scare you. The whole North Pacific/Gulf of Alaska has been in a rain pattern for a few weeks. Still, it is mainly a drizzle or sprinkle and its intermittant.

Rain in the Northwest is not like rain in Louisiana. Just manage to slip between the raindrops.

10 day forecasts don't really mean anything. FWIW it has rained here only like 5 times total since the beginning of May

Calm down people........lets wait it out and see what happens. Its been raining since yesterday and will probably rain itself out. Its unusual for us to have rain this time of year. The two driest months are Aug and Sep. I am not worried until friday, then I will trust the reports.

We don't get monsoons. Our rain is the slow drizzle that goes on for days and is depressing.

I left my place in Kelso and went to Tacoma last night to visit some friends and on my way back it was raining in Portland too:( Don't worry though....its unusual. Portland needed it cause it hadn't seen a drop in 31 days. Better it rain now so it goes away.

Oh I see. I work downtown and live in Ballard and didn't notice any rain until pretty late last night. It's not raining right now either, although it is overcast and it's supposed to rain today. I don't think most of these people understand what rain here, especially summer rain, is like. The impact on the game would be minimal even if it is raining.

I really hope that's a nice weekend though. I hate the horrible Seattle weather myth. It's been awesome here for the last 4 months. I'm sure everyone will assume that it is typical bad weather and not an aberration.
