Until quality merchandise with the greatest logo in all of sports, the dunking tiger is made available to the general public we’ve reached our ceiling as far as march madness goes. Now if we ever do start seeing that logo everywhere I fully expect multiple final fours and a national championship.

Wake up worthless people in the LSU basketball marketing department and make it happen! You are holding this program back.

You are on to something. The dunking Tiger tee is a secret weapon.

CLEARLY there is a demand for the product. The basketball program could always use more marketing both throughout the state and in the BR metro area which provides most of the crowd for the games. We have thousands of bozos throughout the state who wear LSU apparel ever freaking day...including their "nice" LSU PFG shirts reserved for weddings, funerals and fancy dinners at Carrabba's. These are people who NEVER have enough LSU apparel.

So with both a desire for the product and a need to market the program LSU's marketing departments decides: "Nah. We'll just keep this strictly limited to the team". "But if you are interested, we have this gaudy shite available"

Hell, use the "Dunking Tiger" on a throwback uniform. Many, many schools throughout the country have a classic uniform they wear. LSU's current uniforms are very good. But take the golds which they rarely wear and replace them with a gold throwback like these

It's not just the dunking tiger, it's the cursive writing of Louisiana State University. I have a few items with the dunking tiger, but nothing with the cursive writing....

Unfortunately we don't get many days here in Louisiana to wear this (though almost all occur during basketball season). I'm not a hoodie guy. Otherwise I would own it. (If they make a crewneck version they can name their price for me!)

Y'all don't understand how the LSU athletic department really works if you think the LSU athletics marketing department is the main party in control of the merchandise that is produced.

It actually is available. It’s a Nike shirt that’s gray with that logo and a purple ring collar. Check out Hibbet Sports.

I've never seen a topic come up so frequently. The fact that literally everyone agrees with the OP is telling, especially for this place.

"wrong board" "germans" "I've never seen this topic before" or a link to a previous thread on the topic is this boards favorite move.

This thread is always well received regardless of how many times it is posted.

We want the dunking tiger merch. We want it now! Give it to us!

Final 4? LOL. How about we start by winning our division of the SEC.

Awesome shirt
