Why is it that Florida finished the regular season last year at 8-3 with the Heisman winning QB, we have three losses following our national championship season and they were considered young? We have a freshman QB thrown into the fire and are considered underachievers to national pundits and talking heads. The media can really be double faced arse wipes.

When you look at it from this perspective UF 07 looks pretty pathetic. That is the best they could do with a Heisman QB?

UF didn't have 50 points hung on them twice last season. Most of the loses were close.

Forgive me but I'm one of them although my perspective has changed as recently as Monday.

Because Florida really was young where as LSU is young at QB and DB.

They lost to Michigan. Last year. In a bowl game in Orlando.

Did you happen to watch any of Michigans' games last season? PATHETIC.

Especially with a Heisman leading the team.

And we did not give up 50. 38 to Georgia, and 40 something to Florida. Definitely way more than I or anyone would else would like to see our usually stellar D give up, but the D was not the main problem.

Yes and they also had problems with people getting arrested, etc. A lot of fans come on here and make comments and fail to look at the big picture.

>>>>>>>>>>>>BIG 12. Wait til bowl season champ. The SEC will prove again why we are the best conference every year. While its gonna be tough to match a 7-2 SEC bowl record form last season, the SEC will still post a winning record.

I'll take a 3-4 loss year w/ a Fresh QB, than one w/ a Hiesman QB.

Let's review that.

Alabama----probable win
Ole Miss---probable win (loss if they go to the cotton bowl)
LSU-----Probable loss (if not in the cotton bowl, then a probable win.)
Florida---probable win
UGA----can't play defense. Probable loss. They've given up.
South Car----50/50. They're streaky.
Kentucky----probable loss
Vandy-----probable loss

I tally it up at around 4-4 or 3-5.

The D is not the problem? They have been getting torched all year. UF is a national title contender this year. If Malveto returns next year, we will lose 4 games, AGAIN.

STFU Nole fan...you would just take a 3-4 loss season PERIOD! With or without a Fresh QB...LOl, when was the last time you lost less then 6 games?

and for that matter- having a heisman, is second to winning the MNC...esp when he was a sophmore and you can potentially get two more seasons from him...

but until then- learn how to beat BC and Wake Forest
