Meanwhile, Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher, who was LSU’s offensive coordinator under Nick Saban from 2000-04 and under Miles from 2005-06, remains one of the top targets to replace Miles should he be let go, according to sources close to LSU. Those close to Fisher said he may have interest in a possible return to LSU.

Is this the kind of stuff that was posted on Michigan boards with talks of Les Miles interest?

Once the news actually comes out that Les is gone...
Pretty much.

No, I'm skeptical. But then again i can't think of someone I would be completely sold on besides Meyer, which isn't happening.

I'm not to be honest.

Before he lucked up with Winston, there were rumblings of wanting him gone. He hasn't exactly set the world on fire without Winston this year either.

Long story short, there is no perfect coach.

If you can't get fired up for a national championship winning coach then you need your head checked.

He is a crapshoot. Yes, even Jimbo. He may have won his one and only championship, and be on the downside of his career, you just never know. He already has frick you money, and will get more if he comes here. Will that make him complacent? Again, no way of knowing. If we're going to roll the dice, I'd rather do it with a young up and comer. But I'll back the Tigers no matter what.

This all has that Saban to Texas feel to it, but I love all the speculation!

Of course Jimbo and his agent will "have interest". Surest way to get a nice raise. Jimbo's not going anywhere except to the bank.
