? GOING TO MY FIRST BASKETBALL GAME

i will be alone and i am an older female....how is the parking....and where do i park....thanks in advance.....

you can park pretty much anywhere. I usually park in the lot in front of tiger stadium or the one across south stadium from it.

That's pretty much what you get from college kids. This would be a better forum if they stayed in the OT. They certainly don't know jack about sports and enjoy being stupid.

There is a free parking large concrete parking lot to the south of Tiger Stadium along South Stadium Drive that you can park.
There are a lot of people that park there and a lot of pedestrian traffic so it is very safe. You will walk along the west side of Tiger Stadium to get to the PMAC.
There are parking areas that are closer and will be easier to get out. However, being that you are alone and a female, the one I mentioned above will be better for you.

Park at Tiger Stadium near the athletic bldg...you can also park near the track and field stadium on Nicholson...don't worry, none of these guys go the the games, they hang out at the arcade at the mall...

'Thanks for the info....I have football season tickets but I use the shuttle as i feel that is the safest way for me....guess i will get their a little early....and feel my way around

The West campus apts over by the "old" softball field are where I park. Lots of lighting and foot traffic after the games going the same way.

park in the lot just south of Tiger Stadium. Just turn onto south stadium drive off of nicholson and park in the lot to your right

I second this. When you leave, head out to towards Nicholson. The traffic headed towards Highland from these spots is atrocious.

No need to feel unsafe. Just look for a family dressed in Tiger gear and follow them to the Assembly Center.
