Granted BYU isn't a top 10 team(neither are we) but that was an excellent defense. Once fully staffed, it should be a fun D to watch. And the D will give Canada and the offense to come together. This was a great first game. Now we play a cupcake game at home...lets the team really come together, then hit the road to open the SEC. Schedule sets up very nicely!

Our game should have looked like the Miss. St. - Charleston Southern game. Three red zone failures against BYU???
By the end of the 1st quarter, I realized how weak BYU was. I was embarrassed that I thought BYU might upset LSU.
Our defense is good. Our offense is not.

This team is just like last year's - great defense and a weak offense. And, the defensive strength will generate from Miles' players.

OK you had two backs close to 100 yards.. You had A QB that was basically lights out throughout the game... We had the ball for almost 40 mins... Yes we TOYED with BYU yet our offense sucks... Not sure which game YOU were watching... But as USUAL.. LSU SOME LSU fans will not be happy until we win EVERY game 56-0 and have 650 yards of offense....
