I was wrong about Hester, never thought he would be that good.
I thought RP would be great, K. Williams thought he would be great(still has a chance)
J. McKnight thought he would be great..

I thought Carnell Stewart, Ryan Miller, Matt Stoltz, Xavier Carter, R.J. Jackson, Matt Allen and Antonio Robinson would do better than they turned out.
My biggest disappointment though was Derrick "Car Crusher" Odom.

Yeah, I thought Amp Hill was gonna be big time. Biggest disappointment was Josh Booty.

I thought Marlon Favorite would be better than Glen Dorsey. Also thought Chad Lavalais would flop after being out of football so long.

I can't say I was following recruiting at the time, so not really a mistake of mine, but I'm sure the LSU staff at the time would like to rethink their position on Marshall Faulk.

I do, however, like the philosophy of putting great high school skill athletes at the secondary positions in college.

I thought Amp Hill and Ricky Dixon were going to be like Bowe.

I really thought Chris Mitchell was going to be a good player... great speed and excelled for multiple years in an athlete-littered New Orleans district

I was wrong.

me too ..and Coach Mac too

unless he's a liar, he told me straight up that Debose was a silent verbal when I ran into him at the 5A Florida State Finals last December in the Citrus Bowl

After the game we were down by the field and he was hugging Debose's mom and spiking his brother and hanging out and very comfortable with that whole crew (many other big time schools' coaches were there and none of them ahd the rapport that Coach Mac did). I even asked him about Ray Ray and Dye and he told me that Dye would not qualify and that he didn't think they would get Ray Ray, so he was pretty candid.

Between bypassing on Dez Bryant a few years ago, to mysteriously missing out after leading throughout on DeAndre Brown, to losing Debose last year... we have lost our share of elite WRs in the last few classes (yes, I know we got Randle) ..I hope that trend doesn't continue with Trovon this year

i thought Jai was guna be one of the baddest corners in the country. he still is a solid corner, and will probably get drafted. just not as good as i was expecting. BUT he can still prove me wrong. and im not hating on the dude either bc he still is one of my favorites on D.

as far as who i thought we had in the bag or i wished we had in the bag.... Arrelius Benn. he is such a beast.

For me I was all hyped up on Tray Blackmon and he never really lived up to the hype. I am hanging back a bit now on my expectations of ElToro Freeman.
