Your Biggest Recruiting Mistake

Give me the biggest mistake you made in judging one of LSU's recruits. Either someone you thought when we signed him that he would be great, but turned out not so good. Or someone you didn't think much of but turned out to be a lot better than you thought. You can list both if you have one of each.
My biggest screwup was Josh Dworaszyk. I remember when he first committed. I saw his offer sheet with ULL and La Tech and said what are we thinking. This guy is going to do nothing. Now he's a starting OL on one of the best teams in America. Which is why I'm on the computer and not coaching.

BACK ON TOPIC: Sammich IN YO FACED me the other day cause Rocky D got student athlete of the month. Then he argued that Rocky just took a greyshirt for shits and giggles not cause he was ineligible. That was my biggest mistake.

Mine was Tyson Jackson. When I saw him in high school, I said there is no way he'll play at LSU. If this is what LSU is recruiting, we are in serious trouble. I really thought that. He was very raw, sloppy, overweight, slow, and lazy. But when he got to LSU the made a man out of him. If someone would have told me in high school this guy will be the 3rd overall pick in the first round of the draft, I would have told them the need to seek help for a mental disorder.
