I couldn't find any measurements listed on his hands. Tough to tell through pics. Maybe a coach or former QB can tell us by looking at that pic.

Brees isn't a top 5 QB of all time. Stop it.

Does anyone know if Lindsey Scott has abnormally large hands?

Lindsey Scott was interviewed this morning on 104.5 in Baton Rouge and one of the hosts mentioned he has 9.5" hands.

About the 6 minute mark

I read that the NFL average is 9.6" so if his hands are 9.5" then I'd have to say what so many women have said to me, "Meh, bout average".

Brees and Wilson have hands over 10" so I guess he's no Brees or Wilson in that department.

compared to the 8.5" side of this typing paper... I'd say mine are a solid 6".

i think brees has trouble throwing a ball in wet weather, i wouldn't think he had large hands.

the avg nfl hand size is 9.5 from thumb to pinkie. mine are 9.5 and i don't have any trouble throwing an nfl ball (other than being inaccurate as hell and not worth a shite as a qb.)

one would have to have tiny hands for a college ball to present an issue. tendon strength, arm length, torque and motion (from the feet to the finger tip) also have a lot to do with throwing. can usually get more rotations the larger the grip.

maybe i saw a game where brees was struggling with throwing the ball int he rain because he had an injury?

10.25 is plenty big enough to handle an nfl ball in any weather.

Lol, nope can't find that. His hands are much bigger than Romo's so he should be good to go.

He's fringe top 10, and I'm sure you'd dispute that.

Before the Saints had the bounty gate penalties no other QB in the league had more wins than Brees since joining the Saints in 2006. He never really had much of a defense outside of maybe one season yet he found a way to win so many games. This is the Saints we are talking about.. Took a what 2-3 win team to the NFC championship in his first year (when many doubted he would ever have success again off shoulder surgery)

He has multiple stats, and he didn't exactly play with a stellar great team like many of the "all-time" greats did. His best Wideout was nearly undrafted and still never made a single probowl. Brees maximized the talent around him. He is among one of the best ever at the position. He did get Graham later on and utilized his abilities as great as anyone could..

Even in a down year this past season when none of the players were even voted to the probowl.. and playing with an injury in which he missed his first game.. then another injury he played through.. he still had a top 5 QBR among active starters.

Any ways, he's among the best.. Especially when he continues to top their records. His 2009 playoff run was remarkable. He had 8 TDs in 3 games with ZERO ints. He was Superbowl MVP, and had a 82% completion rate in the Superbowl.. In 11 playoff games he has like a 100+ rating with 24 TDs to 6 ints 66% completion.

He just keeps breaking NFL records all the time. He should go down top 10.
