I look at it this way, being a part time coach and mentor to various athletes you sometimes have to be cut and dry, the more rope you give the more they'll expect. Stare the kid in the face and say, "ok yeah we're losing thats why we're recruiting guys like you to come in and contribute to the program, but with that being said you can hop on the train with the rest of the guys or you can go somewhere else and get abused in the coming years by these guys. Either way at the end of the day LSU always has and always will prosper."......and walk out lol

Lewis won't end up at LSU

After watching him play past Friday, LSU may be dodging a bullet. He has the attitude of Perrilloux & D'haquille Williams, and while a good player he has no where near the talent of those two.

It showed Saturday night too. Some of ya'll need to wake the freak up!

Are you kidding me???

Adams - just started getting good snaps the last couple of weeks
Battle - has only played in one game, and it was at the tail end of an FCS opponent
Gage - has only played against the worse competition this year
Paris - has barely played
Thomas - played well before injury, so didn't play against Auburn
Voorhies - has only played against the crap opponents

We have plenty of depth. Only one of these guys isn't a true freshman, and they will definitely improve. We still have two years with them. We add Toliver, Raymond, and hopefully (but not likely) Jackson, and we are good to go.

I definitely want Lewis to play here, but if he doesn't, then, oh well. Wonder why we aren't going after Reid's brother though.

He's a good enough athlete and has good size that I think he'd contribute, probably not early, but at some some point in his career here.

That attitude really made me look at him in a different light though. After nearly every negative play he threw a tantrum. At one point he fumbled the ball away and then grabbed the ball and moseyed off the field. Both teams were ready to run another play and he was barely past the hash marks. The ref eventually told him to get off the field and he then chunked the ball to the ground on the sideline.

When he finally did make a few plays he ran his mouth. He got two taunting penalties and I'm pretty sure he was one of the players that ran into the stands and ripped up CL signs after the game.

He played a good bit of CB against us. I imagine he played a good bit more at CB against teams that throw the ball more than we do?

maybe you cant read, but i said he has the talent. He just seemed disinterested and just didnt have that "it" factor that you see with kids that are LSU caliber.
