You're not ruining a theory. This is information that is from someone in Mississippi close to the situation. I'm not someone who claims sauces on the recruiting board because I have none for LSU. This is one thing that I actually do have some information on, though. Maybe its false info, but I trust the person who told me.

They were both in state kids though. For Georgia to pull kids from Texas and California on these two kids level, you know something fishy is going on.

Probably so, but for people to cry like clockwork foul everytime Georgia or Bama gets a recruit to commit over us is petty and ghey. I get it, you think Johnny Walker would travel from Siberia to play for the Tigers for free, but ANYONE else must be paying them. You are retarded. If we get him, great. If we do not, I am certain we will be just fine.

Stacking 5+ 5* in one class, multiple at the same position, is a red flag. That doesn’t usually happen with any team.

We got one 5* and a 4* with virtually nothing in the tank on the roster...

UGA has 5* RB's stacked up like jets at Atlanta Hartsfield waiting to take off.

I’m retarded because I think something fishy is going on? What ties do these two kids have to UGA? They both live a long way from Athens where there is already a loaded backfield. I’m very aware that everyone pays players, but this would be way too obvious. If they were both from the southeast, I would be more understanding.

Texas A&M is close, but I agree that Smart is highly overrated as a coach.

I wouldn't exactly use the adjective "awesome" to describe uga's football program. They haven't won a national title since 1980.

LSU beat their "awesome" program by 20 points last year. Then, they ended the season up with a loss to Texas in the sugar bowl. Georgia definitely has a good football program. They receive a lot of unwarranted hype because of their proximity to the ATL media hub. How much he is too much though? They're extremely hyped every damn year, and they continue to not produce on the big stage, no matter who the coach is. They have to actually win a title for them to be considered one of the elite programs and to be considered "awesome". Lol, they can have the all that hype, give me the W on the field. Geaux Tigers.

Btw, im agreeing with you cra_cra. I was responding to TheCaterpillar's hype of the uga football program.

fricking ignorant.

2017-2018 Season
UGA played in the SECCG. UGA won.
UGA played in the national championship game. UGA lost in overtime to Alabama.

2018-2019 Season
UGA played in the SECCG. UGA was beating Alabama going into the fourth quarter. UGA barely lost.
A win over Alabama in the SECCG would have had UGA in the playoffs for the past two seasons.

UGA Has 15 5-Star Players on Roster 247
4 5* OL
1 5* DL
4 5* LB
2 5* RB

LSU Has 7 5-Star Players on Roster 247
0 5* OL
1 5* DL
0 5* LB
1 5* RB

UGA Recruiting
2019 - #2
2018 - #1
2017 - #3
2016 - #6
2015 - #6
2014 - #8
2013 - #12

2020 Recruiting
UGA has 3 5* [LB, OL, RB] - LSU has 2 5* [CB, WR]
UGA has 93.20 average - LSU has 92.53 average

UGA was frequently overhyped under Richt.
They are NOT overhyped right now.

This is what's pretty comical from these fan boys. We only grabbed Emery away from UGA because he's a LA kid . You think LF didn't get a fricking pile of cash? But now we mysteriously are pulling kids from Cali and DC for free

Emery supposedly had a kid here, and Faulk also was in his ear.

There were in the title game two season ago. They almost made the playoffs last year.

They've never recruited like they have the last three years.

2019 - #2
2018 - #1
2017 - #3

This is not Richt's UGA.

sorry to bump the thread but just wanted to address this. UGA as of late has been known to not only do this but do it successfully, in fact it's our current pitch to highly touted RBs. Come here, share the workload with another elite back, do well and get to the league fresh. Over the past decade we've more often than not had duos of elite backs:

07: Knowshon/Thomas Brown
12: Gurley/Keith Marshall
14: Gurley/Chubb/Michel
15: Chubb/Michel
17: Chubb/Michel/Swift
18: Swift/Holyfield
19: Swift/Zamir White

And in 2020 when these guys would get on campus Swift will be gone.

If we were signing 2 5* QBs per class yeah, that'd be odd. But for UGA to get two elite RBs in a class is not in itself strange or uncommon.

LSU in the last 8 years. UGA made the NC game the year before last (and didn’t get 21-0’d). LSU fans are hyped about a 3-loss season last year.

LSU signing the #2 and #8 overall RBs, who were both from LA, isn't quite the same thing as UGA signing #1 and #4. Especially when #1 is from Texas.

***Assuming they both sign.
