I remember that play and there were a couple to RR that year as well. The only catch is that that's exactly what Cameron was fired from Baltimore for NOT doing. Since Caldwell took over, he has been running Rice more and that's opened up the deep PA balls for Flacco.

Have y'all ever heard of this before? Like 12 guys moving anchor threads to another anchor thread? I'm sure it's been done before but it may be more common than we think. I would suggest we come up with a universal name for our Safety Thread incase this one gets whacked or something happens. Can someone post it and name the Link "Safety Thread" or "Backup Thread" so I or anyone else can scroll quickly and refer to the that thread?

Well, in my opinion at least, theres a reason Cam has stuck around the NFL coaching game for so long. You don't get to the top of the coaching world without knowing what you're coaching. In all these posts, I'm not claiming to know it all about what schemes and plays LSU should run. But a lot of the time all of us know exactly whats coming. And if we all know it, then the defensive coaches on the other side damn sure know whats coming. And even when we try to get sneaky and unpredictable, we bring in a RB who hadn't played all year into an & goal situation. Nothing suspicious about that at all.

Sounds like a good name for this thread. I can see the parallels. Just my opinion

It may not be wise to be planning to post in anchored threads. Hopefully since this isnt a bunch of random conversation and its mostly relevant to one topic, maybe they'll let us be. But mass posting in anchored threads is frowned upon.

I agree with the top portion but I will say this...I bet if you watched any team (Alabama, Oregon, K-State, Baylor, etc) as much as you watch LSU, you could probably deduce with decent accuracy what they will do schematically in most situations. And as far as the TM14 jump pass...you gotta get over it lol. We know it was a bad call, Les knows it was a bad call.

I'm over it. It was more of just a jab at the creativity of our offense. When we tried to throw something a bit unexpected at them (which doesn't happen a heck of a lot) it got telegraphed. I appreciated the fact that we tried to mix it up. Just the execution was flawed.

and I guess you're right about being able to predict whats coming if you're largely familiar with a team. Next year, I'm just hoping for a mix of plays and I'm really thinking Mett will impress us.
