Texas picked up some more commits to get to 13 with the headliners being Peter Jinkens(LB),Cayleb Jones(wr) and Paul Boyette(DT).They've gotten some good ones for sure but this group is down a bit from past years.Texas is not as good at the top this year. Not many guys we were after with Riser being the only one we really wanted or offered for that matter.

Pope may shop around - but I'm thinking he's pretty much a TCU lock.

He's a legacy recruit. His brother, Jason Teague, was a starting CB for TCU this past season (and part of 2009). Pretty good one, too.

Just finished up his eligibility and will graduate this semester... Hopefully he'll get his name called in the 6th or 7th Round so he can wait a bit to put his degree to use.

How many does A&M have now---seems like they may be more of a threat to drain Texas players, than in past years.

I remember when he signed with us. I thought with his size he was gonna be pretty good.

Wasn't it grades that stopped him from coming here?

My friends at TCU said he really turned it around academically. Like I said - He's getting his diploma in a few weeks. Apparently S Tejay Johnson had a really positive influence on him.

Of course there will be... Ever heard of Adrian Peterson or Eric Dickerson

Is this serious, I feel like there may have been a small news story on his recruitment. I agree there will be athletes to pull from texas, but using that argument is very flawed. Maybe if we were talking about recruiting Cam the man Newton, but we arent looking to pay that kind of price.
