I think with this situation is has a whole hell of a lot more to do with the kid having a bad injury and LSU standing behind him.

No.... No its not.

Godchaux is a good player and earned his offer off his talent. Its not like we gave him a "token" scholarship.

And all these other schools are standing by him after his injury...

WTF said we gave him a "token" scholarship? A lot of schools could have cooled on him and wanted to wait out the injury. LSU stood by him all along. Ole Miss if he chooses them didnt even come into the picture until months after his injury.
