He would be the #6 RB on the team next year and probably better off at WR.

I think he and his dad will take his unbelievable talent elsewhere though.

If he stays he's a WR.

he will be a RB at UTk

that makes sense. somebody needs to give this kid better advice. wr make big bucks and their window to play is longer. rb's go really fast in the pros, if thats his end game.

Ridley was also listed as an athlete. The sites usually put that as a position when a guy projects to multiple skill positions.

Yea he is listed as an athlete due to the opinion of the employees of the sites. He is a guy that can play at a variety of positions. And in my opinion can succeed at many different positions, inluding RB.

That being said he may look elsewhere but I'm not so sure about that. In the end he has a lot of reasons to go to LSU. Friends and family, distance, championships, etc. But its going to be hard to find a school where he is the only RB recruit. Plus I think he may realize that Les keeping his word to Jeremy Hill is a good thing. It is another example of Les showing his loyalty and honesty. And most importantly I do believe that he is not afraid of competition and he will realize that stars and rankings mean nothing to Les and his staff and that time and time again Les shows that if u have talent Les will give you playing time no matter your age. I could be wrong but hopefully he realizes that if he has talent, Les will get him on the field. And I think that this kid has TONS of potential and that his talent is being a little under rated and he will be a Tiger and be playing special teams as a true freshman while Ware and Ford are juniors. And when they graduate he will see playing time AS A RB as a sophmore. Matter of fact it even wouldn't surprise me to see him get some carries as a true freshman even though that maybe hard.

As far as Rivals, a lot of these kids list themselves as athletes so some coach doesn't form an opinion of the in certain positions and overlook them . Case in point. The 5A all state QB is the Moore kid from East St John. He is an amazing athlete but if you just looked at him as a QB he is like 5'10 and most D1 coaches would never look twice. He will get a D1 deal but probably not at QB. Then again getting there is the main thing. He is very talented. He put up 3000 yds of offense on a rebuilding year for East St John.
