Anyone you want

I'd say easily Rashard Lawrence. What it would mean if we lost the states top player to a divisional rival and had to play against his relentless arse for the next 3 years would be brutal. Especially cause it would help with NELA

Definitely Lawrence but losing him and signing Gary, and maybe Manuel would ease that loss. I still think we get RL in this class

Agreed

Actually, I think the "can't miss" is Franks, but he is solidly committed.

Lawrence. But as yall said getting either one of those guys would make losing him not as bad. Still would rather Lawrence mainly to gain a little momentum in that area for future recruits....plus he's a badass.

Can't miss, as in can't lose to another school? Or can't miss, as in a lock to be a stud?

Lawrence and Divinity are about as close to can't lose to another school as you can get. The potential DL studs lining up and the Texas LBers help, but these are still 2 big needs.

I have heard on several occasions that they may sign as many as 6 DT in this class.

Logan
Alexander
Gary
Lawrence
Blacklock

Still recruiting Oliver hard.
Raekwon Davis?
Stephon Taylor?

And yes DIvinity is a must get given our outlook at LB over the next few years.

Keion Joyner is the answer here. Due to our dire need at Linebacker. He is the most college ready to contribute from day 1. We had so much momentum on him early, so to loose him would be a huge disappointment.

from a fan psyche standpoint I agree, about Lawrence given the recent struggles we've had recruiting that part of the state. From a purely FB standpoint if we get Gary and or Davis, it is a wash.

Because of our extreme lack of depth at LB, and the fact that the state doesn't typically produce elite LBs I see why people are saying that about Divinity, but talent wise, while he is very good, he is also replaceable OOS. We do of course need more LBs than we have committed right now.

I just cant choose betweenn the Lawrence and Gary. I know some people are very against pro comparisons, but Lawrence reminds me of a Marcell Dareus type player, and Gary - Nick Fairley.

Just wondering why everyone harps on the one year that LSU lost 3 guys to Bama instead of the years of LSU getting every prospect from Monroe? No one says a word ever about 4 star Cam Lewis from Monroe being committed to LSU this year.

I'm excited about Lewis. I wish we had offered Turpin last year, his highlights looked like video games with cheat codes.

A lot of people on here have a terrible little brother syndrome to Alabama. They are scared shitless of them.

And the only one we really missed on was Robinson. Sims needed to camp just like Moxie did. Hootie isn't missed because of Adams. Plus it's not like we're struggling without Robinson. Our O line is filled with talent. People just want to focus on any negative.

I'm pumped to have Lewis on board

The Keion Joyner noise is kind of fizzing out.

If we lose him to bama we will never hear the end of it, even if we sign players as good. It will be used as negative recruiting in the future just like Hootie, and the blow hards are now.

IMO he is a must get for future recruiting. If this kids comes to LSU and blows up we will be rock solid in NELA for years to come.

Now for a talent on the field prospect, it's FF we need him because great QBs are a lot harder to come by.

I think Franks fits the bill despite being a commitment. He was/is Cam's guy for 2016, and we need as much talent at QB as possible. He's likely the most important commit we have and will get IMO.

Probably White, since we aren't recruiting any other RB's.
