1. Russell Shepard
2. Joe Mcknight
3. Ruben Randall

Shep...Just on a whole different level than anyone in the best high school competition out there. People are really not fully grasping the impact he will have this year imo.

I agree. All the people I talk to does not think he can play QB. I think people will be suprised that he can actually throw the ball.

May have the most potential of any LSU recruit in recent memory.

Most potential....I'll go with Rueben Randle.
He is the one guy on there that I feel I can say has the best chance to make it to the pros and be successful there.
We are splitting hairs here, but "quicker, faster" types are not as consistent hits in the pros as a guy like Randle.

shepard - most college potential, he can do it all and is a leader and not a prima donna
Randle - most pro potential, already has the measurables for his position and is a specialist (ie. he only plays receiver), and the smartest of the bunch who comes from a winning program

He played QB, WR, and returned punts and kicks at Bastrop.

Will not play two skill positions in college. May return kicks, but I doubt it.

patrick peterson IMO. slightly better recruit than eric berry out of high school. that's huge to live up to, but he's got a ton of potential

Ryan P. deserves to be on that list

You could make the argument for RS, no doubt but I think RR is the best WR we've seen come out of LA since Wayne. That is saying A LOT.

Seastrunk will be a senior

If Seastrunk's measurables are anywhere close to what he claims they are, he has to have the most potential.
He claims a 4.25 40 time and ran a 10.35 100m time during his sophmore year in hs. When he visited Auburn he reportedly showed off to some other recruits by jumping up and touching various high objects (banners, etc.). A person that was there supposedly took out a tape measure and roughly measured his vertical as 52". Even if this person was off by a bit, his vertical is still probably 45"+.

If Peterson were on the original list, then that's my vote.
He is the type of pure CB that comes around once a decade.

This would be my pick also.
Having seen Shep play 5 times last year, he is also a rare find. Does a bunch of things well. His brother plays DB, hes another to keep and eye on.
Joe Mc, this is his year. 3 TD's last year, they did move the ball around a lot last year, everyone got a bunch of touches. Hope he does good this year.
RR, can come in and start making some moves, how fast he makes the transition, we'll see. LSU has a very good WR coach. Enjoy this season, it will end too fast.
