Diarse won two titles and he was a huge reason they won in both games, even as a freshman.

So it would be biased if they made it a career award

Check the stats, Diarse is better than Williams in every way. I know you're a big Rummel alum, but there's a reason Diarse is going to LSU and Williams isn't. Diarse had a better championship game than Williams as well. It wasn't his fault Neville lost. Me giving this much credit to a Neville player is like an LSU fan advocating Trent Richardson to win the Heisman. If I'm saying he deserves it, it's through gritted teeth. The kid was the best senior in the state this year and has been the best player in his class all 4 years. The best player in the state this year was Quinn though and it's not even close.

Also, All State and Mr Football are voted on before the games are played the weekend of the state championship right? I know All State is, which is dumb IMO.

Can you post the stats? I looked And couldn't find them.

For the record I said i thought Fournette would win it.

I mention Williams since the guy said about 4 yr starter stuff. Which shouldn't matter

I looked and looked. Couldn't find any on Diarse which is weird. Williams was around 2100 combined passing/rushing. 1400+/600+ passing/rushing.

Fournettes stats were posted in the times today. He definitely has the numbers for the award.

i just watched the replay of Neville vs Karr. Diarse single handedly almost beat a team of college sized monsters. His o line looked like a 1A squad and the other skill players were at about a 2A level.

Laurence Jones looked like he was too lazy to be bothered throughout the game. Just stood there flat footed the majority of the game with no interest to get in on the play.

I went to the game rooting for Karr but was pulling for Neville toward the end simply because Diarse left his heart on that field. He refused to go down on many of plays that looked like sure sacks! Mr Louisiana Football....just give it to him!

Hootie would have played better if he wasnt hurting. It hurt for him to move quickly from any position. No excuses, its what happened. He'll be back to normal next year.

I wouldnt be surprised if he was in Baton Rouge right now getting ready...

People who think that we overhype him will get to see why he gets the attention that he does soon.
