I am by no means comparing Manny to Bain. That is Just dumb. I'm just saying that I would rather Manny over Ryan May any day of the week. Not to mention the attitude and work ethic Manny brings to any team.

Doesn't matter*cough*when Cotton couldn't *cough* through faster than an 80 *cough* fast *cough* ball.

At that point *cough* the advantage *cough* is moot, but you'd know that *cough* if you weren't an idiot.

Ok, so you're now saying LSU will trot a right handed pitcher throwing 80?

Would it have been better to say Mark Buehrle or Doug Fister?

Lefties are a special breed. Way harder to hit than a RHP throwing 85 because lefties hide the ball when they pitch, and it has natural movement away from right handed hitters

A person with the last name "Miles" always seems to anger people on this board

I'm curious to see what he's going to do as well. He's a really great kid. It's amazing what the Miles' have been able to do for their kids. They are all polite and very involved in athletics. Credit to Kathy and Les.

Credit to Les, but Mrs. Kathy does not miss many (if any at all) games. She is the mold for that family. Props to her.

Why Fister can get up into the low 90's and in his prime so could Buehrle.... of course both of those are established players vs a kid not even in college.

He's going to walk on at LSU for football only.

It would be the ultimate poetic justice if Manny Miles were to play football at LSU and become one of the best LSU QB's of all time.

I actually asked Les this question Saturday at the crawfish boil and he excitedly said, "maybe LSU," so I take it he is trying to play baseball here.

Bertuccinni. Not CPM's recruit, but he sure used him a lot.

MM's best shot is either via coaching or a traditional college career. Either way he'd be better off at LSU. Should make the decision based on career plans, even if it means giving up playing time.
