Is he looking into baseball options?
Will he walk on somewhere for football?
Will he try and play both at a smaller school?

And before I go any further I know he is not LSU QB material or probably baseball for that matter.

Why shouldn't he walk on at LSU for baseball? No scholarship would be used and he could learn from the best in AD. If he can't cut it he can move on to a smaller school. He did a great job at the Lab School and he was under a microscope as the head coach's kid.

As for football, he would need to borrow Lesticles from the Florida 2007 game to walk on.

I think this is most likely the case if he doesn't get any football scholly offers.

He's going to walk on at LSU for football only.

But he's also quoted saying he could never play for his dad, so...

Baseball can't have unlimited walk ons.
The 35 man roster prevents that.

don't think Manny can hit 89 on gun yet, so no, he's not better.

Neither could Greg Maddux. What's your point?

LSU places a lot of emphasis on arm strength. A lot. You don't follow LSU baseball if you think PM is going to have a right handed pitcher throwing 85, unless he's a sidearm pitcher. Manny is a nice pitcher, but I he'll have to prove himself in JUCO ball before getting a shot at LSU. At least May made the All Stars playing last summer in the Texas Collegiate League, and he sat in upper 80's.

Agree to disagree? I think he is on the Baseball team next year as a walk on if Manny wants to be.

Arm strength means nothing unless you can hit 95+ mph. Give me a pitcher that can spot an 85mph fastball and change speeds with his pitches, rather than "just throw the ball hard."

I'll have to disagree with that. Bain is a perfect example of why I believe that you're wrong on this. Bain sits in 89-92 range and touches 94, and he's a handful in college baseball. An 85 mph fastball just won't cut it in SEC, but I would love it if Manny proves me wrong- great kid and great athlete.

Maddux would hit mid-90s early in his career.
