How many fricking threads are people going to start on this guy

ETA: "this guy" being Nehemiah Augustus for those of you who don't feel like clicking a link to see something that could've been put in the OP

Because of Savion Smith, Eric Monroe, Deontay Anderson, Kristian Fulton, Trayvon Mullen, Cam Lewis and the fact that we need LBer's desperately. Also don't be a dick, post the guy's name and profile next time.

First lesson: Never apologize to anyone on The Rant. Not even to an Admin - only state your case for reinstatement.

Q: When should you apologize to anyone on the Rant? (Hint: same as the chance of rain in Tiger Stadium)

A: Never

His highlight tape is actually crazy crazy good. Just play after play.

Honestly, I like his tape better then Eric Monroe and Definitey more than Clifford Chattaman and Cam Lewis but coaches know best so I will trust our coach evaluators.

But Nehemiah's tape is really filthy and would love him as a Tiger

1. We have better DBs already committed

2. We have better DBs left on our board, some are in state players too

3. Look at his offer list. Not that impressive.

Good article about Nehemiah that just came out today.

LINK

His "great year" includes 63 total tackles, nine pass breakups and five interceptions (one returned for a TD). On offense, he has 406 receiving yards on 21 catches and five TDs and eight carries for 119 yards and three TDs.

He also has a 53-yard punt return for a touchdown -- all in eight games.

Georgia, Nebraska and Arizona State are his three "big offers," Blanchard said.

Augustus confirmed to NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune that his decision won't come until National Signing Day in February 2016.

The 6-foot, 205 pounder is currently listed at No. 44 in the Nifty 50. He also has offers from Louisiana Tech and Tulane, just to name a few.

No it wasn't.

Tyrann was 1 of the top players in the state and was regarded as 1 of the best CBs in the nation. Rivals had him at #191overall in the nation and #13 DB in the nation. They also said he was the best cover corner in the nation as well. 247sports had him as #133overall, #6 DB, and #3 in the state. And Tyrann dominated every single camp he went to, against elite talent. We offered him the summer before his SR year and he committed on the spot. And Les made sure that he was academically cleared and eligible to play for us day 1. He was a highly ranked player on our board as a recruit.

Augustus is a nice looking prospect. Don't get me wrong. But I trust our staff when it comes to offering players. And I'm sure they have seen a lot of Augustus. It's not like he's a no named random player that just blew up recently. They are familiar with him, that's for sure. And they, along with a lot of other coaching staffs in the country, have seen him a good bit. And they don't think he's worth offering at the moment. And we aren't alone in that either.
